Justin Kern brings over 20 years of progressive leadership experience in real estate finance, construction and operations. In his role as CEO of Centinel, he is responsible for the company’s strategic direction, focusing on long-term sustainment and customer, partner and employee outcomes across the more than 32,000 homes and over 12,000 hotel rooms that make up the Centinel military housing and lodging portfolios.
Prior to joining Centinel, Justin held various roles during 20 years with Lendlease, with his most recent role as President and CEO, Lendlease (US) Public Partnerships Holdings LLC. In this role, he led the Lendlease Communities business, with responsibilities including asset management, property management, and development across the military housing and lodging portfolio, as well as development of master planned communities.
His prior roles included Chief Financial Officer, Lendlease (US) Public Partnership Holdings LLC, which saw him provide financial leadership with a strong focus on commercial and risk management and driving the strategic priorities and financial performance of the Communities business. In addition, he has held various other roles, notably Financial Controller, Lendlease Americas, as well as operational roles across the New York and San Francisco Construction businesses.
Justin received his Master of Business Administration degree in real estate finance from UNC Charlotte Belk College of Business and his Bachelor of Science degree in business administration (accounting) from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania.
