In March 2007, the U.S. Air Force selected Lendlease’s public partnership business to develop, build, renovate, finance, and maintain the military housing at Los Angeles AFB, Schriever, and Peterson SFB, collectively called Tierra Vista Communities. As part of the overall initiative by the Department of the Air Force to establish a unique identity and culture within the U.S. Space Force, in 2021, the installations in Colorado were renamed Peterson Space Force Base and Schriever Space Force Base. Over the next five years, residents will benefit from an additional $16.8 M in community improvements in Colorado and $19.2M in California.
